Implementasi Pencegahan Stunting Pada Anak Melalui Intervensi Holistik di Nagari Kudu Ganting, Padang Pariaman
Abstract
Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang signifikan di Indonesia, termasuk di Nagari Kudu Ganting, Padang Pariaman, yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik dan kognitif anak-anak. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pencegahan stunting melalui penyuluhan gizi, pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT), dan stimulasi motorik halus pada anak. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan melibatkan 25 balita terindikasi stunting dan ibu mereka, dengan pendekatan berbasis komunitas dan kolaboratif antara tim KKN Universitas Negeri Padang dan pemerintah nagari. Metode intervensi meliputi diskusi kelompok, penyuluhan menggunakan media Power Point, video, dan poster edukasi, serta distribusi PMT seperti bubur kacang hijau dan telur puyuh rebus, serta sembako mentah dari pemerintah nagari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang stunting dan gizi seimbang, serta kemajuan dalam kemampuan motorik halus anak-anak peserta. Kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu dan ruang pertemuan berhasil diatasi dengan strategi pembagian kelompok kecil. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam upaya pencegahan stunting di Nagari Kudu Ganting dan menjadi model implementasi di wilayah serupa.
