Pemanfaatan Google Teachable Machine untuk Pembelajaran Deep Learning di SMK

Abstract


Rendahnya pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam pembelajaran serta belum optimalnya penerapan joyful learning menjadi tantangan dalam pengenalan konsep deep learning di tingkat sekolah menengah. Di SMK Negeri 9 Semarang, pembelajaran deep learning masih dipersepsikan sebagai materi kompleks dan belum terintegrasi dalam praktik berbasis proyek. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi AI guru melalui pemanfaatan Google Teachable Machine (GTM) sebagai media pembelajaran eksploratif yang mendukung pendekatan mindful, meaningful, dan joyful learning. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan konseptual dan praktik GTM, penyusunan lesson plan berbasis proyek, implementasi di kelas, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pemahaman guru dari 7,00 menjadi 8,375 atau meningkat sebesar 19,64% setelah pelatihan. Selain itu, 80% peserta menyatakan siap mengimplementasikan GTM dalam pembelajaran, dan satu model lesson plan terintegrasi berhasil disusun serta diujicobakan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa GTM efektif meningkatkan literasi AI sekaligus mendorong pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Program ini berpotensi berkelanjutan melalui integrasi GTM dalam pembelajaran reguler dan pengembangan kegiatan berbasis AI di sekolah
